Medieval knights often wore it during wars. 5. Gorget ArmorA gorget armor is another well-known medieval armor. It is the one that covers the chest and the shoulders of the wearer. Today, it is a popular cosplay item and costume. However, medieval knights used to wear it as a way to defend their shoulders and chests against swords. 6. BreastplateA breastplate is a small plate that covers the chest of the wearer. It is another popular thing that is used for cosplay nowadays. 7. Medieval HelmetA medieval helmet is not an armor but a type of armor. It protected the heads of the warriors. They wore this helmet to keep their heads secure from swords!
